Helix is the ideal place to start your day with a seriously delicious cup of coffee and a treat, to relax for a midday lunch or break, or to unwind with light bites and drinks at the end of the day.
As you warm up by our fireplace during the colder months of the year looking out at the snow covered beauty of River Prairie Park, you may find yourself wanting to linger “just a little while longer.” We encourage you to stay and enjoy a hot beverage while listening to music delivered by a state-of-the-art sound system that fills our space with clear and warm sound that allows for easy conversation.
In warmer months, you might prefer to grab a seat on our patio or rooftop deck to get some vitamin D while relaxing in the sunshine. Although every day may feel like a special occasion at Helix, we know that some days are even more special. For those days, our Private Tasting Room, patio and rooftop deck are available as the perfect spaces to celebrate with family and friends.
And when you want to take some of the Helix experience home, you can choose a bottle or more from our fantastic selection of wines on our wine wall, in our beverage coolers, or in our temperature-controlled glass wine cellar. Don’t worry about picking the right bottle. At Helix, we’ve worked hard to make every bottle a great bottle. We are also here and happy to help you find the perfect wines for any occasion—whether it be a dinner party, a holiday dinner, a wedding celebration or time spent on the porch taking in your handiwork in the backyard.
Helix is a simple idea brought to life through carefully crafted execution. Our mission as a wine, craft bar and cafe is to be a catalyst for camaraderie and enjoyment of life’s simple pleasures, and to provide the perfect setting for unique experiences and the creation of special memories. We’ve designed our space with the goal of bringing people together from all walks of life to celebrate what is best described as liquid art—the embodiment of nature, nurture, science and artistry created through the tireless effort, collective skill and passion of farmers and artisanal producers. Our meticulously curated selection of wines, cocktails, regional beers and coffee highlights how craft beverages done right really enhance the enjoyment of life.
